Free Homework Help at Rainier Beach Library
    Posted on 02/02/2016

Now that the Rainier Beach branch library is back open again after remodeling, the after-school homework help sessions have resumed. If you are interested, all volunteers assisting are trained and have passed background checks. Sessions take place in the new "Multi-purpose" room at the back of the library.

Small snacks are served to "early birds" before sessions start. The room has a glass wall so parents can observe children working with the tutors. Parents can always take younger siblings to the children's area and help them look for materials or use computers. Sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5:30-7:30 p.m., and it is....ABSOLUTELY FREE!!
