5th Grade Family Night
"Growing Up & Moving On"
On May 8th at 6:00 - 8:00p.m. Emerson 5th Graders and their parents are invited to celebrate this rite of passage with an evening of conversation. The intent of this event is to promote and enhance self-esteem, parent/child communication, personal hygiene and physical development. There will be a light dinner, workshops and gifts for the 5th grade boys and girls and their guests!

Junior Achievement Day at Emerson
Friday, May 18th is JA Day at Emerson. This Junior Achievement program gives our students a unique opportunity to learn economics. JA volunteers will be teaching themes lessons for all grades: KIndergarten - Ourselves, 1st Grade - Our Families, 2nd Grade - Our Community, 3rd Grade - OUr City, 4th Grade - Our Region, 5th Grade - Our Nation.
